Spring In The Great Smoky Mountains
I kept hearing that this was the best Spring in a long time in the Great Smoky Mountains. I can't stand to miss out on anything so I headed out with a friend to check it out. I love Springtime in the Smokies. The new Spring green does something to refresh my soul. Throw in some wildflowers and you have the perfect mix of Mother Nature. The water levels were a bit low but what a gorgeous site it was to behold. I have never seen the Dogwoods look more beautiful. I was able to meet up with some good friends who are professional photographers and we had an amazing time photographing everything from Cades Cove to Roaring Fork. We got up each morning at 5:00 a.m. and sometimes didn't return until 11:00 p.m. We were exhausted but had such a great time. It was wonderful to catch up with friends and relish in the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains!
